1:1 coaching · for training alumni

Pressure-test the story before your audience does

1:1 coaching for alumni of my storylining trainings. Just-in-time help on the deck, pitch, or message on your desk right now.

Why this exists

Something on your desk matters: a board deck, a client pitch, a message to the teams. The deadline is close. The draft is close too, but something's off, and you can't quite name it.

That's what the 1:1 is for. You bring the draft and the context. I bring experience on what makes high-stakes messages land. In one working hour we find what's off, agree the structural fix, and sharpen the story. You do the rework, with clear direction.

Not more theory. Not more frameworks. A working session on the specific thing you're about to deliver, with someone who'll tell you what's missing before your audience does.

What we do in a session

Typical use cases:

01
Storyline review
Rebuild a deck's logical spine from SCQ to action titles.
02
Pressure-test
Stress-test your storyline against audience pushback before it happens.
03
Dry-run
Rehearse a high-stakes pitch, board presentation, or town hall with live feedback.
04
Slide critic
Take five slides from cluttered to clear.
05
Message compression
Turn a sprawling update into a 90-second executive summary.
06
Bring your own
Any real deliverable where a second pair of expert eyes saves a week of rework.

What changes after

01

The message is clearer. The logic is tighter. The ask is sharper.

02

Every predictable objection is anticipated — and you have an answer for each.

03

You know what to lead with, what to cut, what to compress.

04

You deliver it with more confidence and less rework.

Who this is for

You've completed one of these:

  • Communicate with Impact — 10-week journey or 1-day compact
  • Another storylining or MBB-style structuring & communication training
You're now back in the work, with a real deliverable worth a second pair of eyes. The 1:1 assumes shared concepts (SCQ, pyramid, storyline, audience lens, action title, so-what) so we can move fast.

FAQ

No. The training builds the toolkit. The 1:1 applies it to the thing you're delivering right now — with my eyes on your actual work, not a theoretical example.
Typical turnaround is within 5 working days. Urgent 48h slots are available on request when a board meeting won't wait.
The draft (deck, notes, outline), the context (audience, stakes, deadline), and what currently feels off. You send it to me 48 hours before the session, so we can skip the briefing and go straight to work.
English or German.
Then this isn't the right format. Come back when you do — or consider the full training journey instead.

Your audience will pressure-test it anyway. Better if I do first.

We rebuild what doesn't work — together. Bring the deck, the draft, or the thing you'd rather not present yet.
